The final steps to complete a new work order.

Finalize a new work order

 

Step 1: Assign employees to tasks and packages

  • Each task and package will have a drop-down populated with repair tech names.
  • Select the name of the tech you'd like to perform the task or package.
  • To assign all tasks to the same person, use the assign all drop-down.

Note: If only one repair tech is registered in Shopflow, all tasks and packaged will automatically be assigned to them. 


Step 2: Select the first task

  • Tap the "Arrow in a circle" icon on the left side of the task or package to make the task the first task.

Selecting the first task is required because it ensures that someone is responsible to start the work order.

 

Step 3: Record Due Date / Add Rush Charge

  • Tap the "due date" button to open the calendar.
  • Tap expected completion date.
  • If a work order requires an additional rush charge, tap the rush charge needed on the right side of the calendar.

 

Rush charges can be managed in the company configuration menu.

Due Date is default 2 weeks.

 

Step 4: Record Target Setup and Notes

Intake Setup:

  • Tap the setup button to record the target setup.
  • N/A will skip "force setup" screen at first task.
  • Up/Down amount will leave a note to reference the setup (action) changes needed.
  • Target Dropdowns will record target setup in the full setup screen.

Notes:

  • Tap the notes button to open the notes modal.
  • Add the note.
  • Tap "Save note"

 

Step 5: Finalize and Send Estimate

  • When all previous steps have been completed, tap the green "finalize" button.
  • This will open the estimate preview.
  • If everything is in order check one or more of the boxes for print and email and tap "create invoice"/
  • This will close the screen and return you Shopflow homepage.
