How to genereate a revenue report.

Revenue Report

Step 1: In the menu tap Admin > Reports > Revenue

This will open the revenue report. 

Note: Only users with security level Manager, Admin, or Super Admin can see the Admin menu.

Step 2: Set Date Range

To set date range:

  • Tap the green "Set Date Range" button
  • Enter the start and end date of the range. (The dates between start and end will be highlighted)
  • To run the report, tap "Apply"

What is included in the report.

Revenue by day.

The table shows your "revenue by day" that is totaled up at the bottom. Each row is a day and the columns show Labor, Parts, Shipping, Sub-Total, and Total.

Revenue by tax status.

This table shows you your revenue separated by tax status.

Note: Each customer has a tax status associated with file. You can update these details in the "additional details" section of the customer file.

Revenue by payment method

Note: This is the selection you make at closeout for "payment method."

Sales tax owed for set date range

To record a sales tax payment into Shopflow, make a selection in the "Pay By" dropdown and tap record payment. You can see your payment history by tapping the blue "payment history" button.

Note: You still need to make this payment with your local sales tax collection agency.

Additional Details

To download your revenue report, tap the blue "Download Report" button at the top left of the screen. This will save a CSV file to your computer. The CSV contains three tables that display the same details at the three tables on the report.

Admin and Reports
